Founded in 2019, WeHelp NOLA is a locally owned and operated organization providing no-cost therapy and mental health services to hospitality industry workers in New Orleans.

With 20 years of hospitality experience, WeHelp founder Olivia McCoy knows first-hand the pressure and emotional challenges that come with hospitality work, and the lack of existing mental health resources to combat them. WeHelp allows employers to provide their teams with tangible solutions to the mental healthcare crisis within the industry. By addressing the stigma surrounding mental health and facilitating care, we can improve the livelihood and sustainability of the hospitality industry and its constituents. In short, WeHelp is devoted to serving those who serve all others.

WeHelp's flagship membership program structures services through partnerships with hospitality venues whose owners pay an inexpensive monthly membership fee. Through venue membership, the entire staff has access to all of our services, at no cost to the employee. These services include therapy with a diverse database of licensed clinicians, acute specialized care, and clinician led workplace trainings.

In addition to our flagship membership program mentioned above, WeHelp also operates a crisis counseling program in response to local emergency events. This crisis response program provides the same therapy services mentioned above, regardless of venue membership. Dependent on grants and donations for operation, duration of this program is usually short term and contingent upon funding raised. We launched our first during the COVID pandemic, second during Hurricane Ida, and are currently running a crisis response program for hospitality affected by the New Year’s tragedy on Bourbon St.

WeHelp NOLA is on the forefront of necessary and progressive solutions to systemically improve a community in desperate need of mental health support. As of September 2025, WeHelp NOLA has partnered with over 75 hospitality venues and provided over 7,200 free therapy sessions to hospitality industry workers in Louisiana.
